Imphal, May 20 : The seven days Free Naturopathy Awareness cum Treatment Camp organized by Nature Cure and Yoga Hospital, Kongba Kshetri Leikai under the sponsorship of National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) Pune at the premises of the Hospital from May 11 has been concluded on May 17 last.
A release of the hospital stated that 30 males and 25 females participated at the camp.
There were Yoga demonstration and practical classes on Naturopathy treatment.
Chief Consultant, Dr K Basanta, MO of District Hospital of Churachandpur, Dr Y Lukhoi, Camp Coordinator of NIN Pune, Dr A Ibotombi, Adhyaksha Bihangam Yoga manipur Branch Dr A Kunjabihari and Chief Consultant of Yoga Dr K Devota took part at the camp as resource persons.
Dr Bijoy Koijam graced the valedictory function as chief guest.
The statement further stated that the aim of the camp was to propagate and to popularize the Naturopathy and Yoga system of treatment among the general health seeker so that people can understand the basic knowledge of Yoga and Naturopathy treatment.
Chronic diseases like Hypertension, Arthritis, Asthma, Gastric trouble and Obesity etc were treated with the help of Yogasan, Pranayama, Hydrotherapy, Massage, indoor treatment and outdoor treatment during the camp.
