Kohima, May 6 (PTI) NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah who arrived at the Viswema village near the Nagaland border was unlikely to go to his home village in neighbouring Manipur's Ukrul district today as planned following a request by four Naga organisations.
Naga NGO sources said that the request was made to Muivah last night after he arrived at Visema village from the NSCN(IM) headquarters at Camp Hebron near Dimapur.
The sources said that Muivah had been requested to defer his visit by a day or two.
Muivah's visit has been opposed by the Manipur government on the grounds that it would disturb communal amity in the state and it has refused entry to him by clamping prohibitory orders at the inter-state border checkgate at Mao and mobilising security forces.
