New Delhi, Apr 25 : The Rural Development Ministry has released Rs 56.15 crore grant-in-aid as part payment of first instalment of phase VII for construction of rural roads in Manipur under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
The amount is from the special window created in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund as grants-in-aid to the Manipur State Rural Roads Development Agency, the government said in a statement here today.
The MSRRDA is the agency executing the works taken up under the PMGSY in the state, it added.
