Imphal, Aug 9 : A two-member Japanese official delegation led by Minister Naoki Ito, and First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in India, Koju Matsubayashi, recently visited Manipur.
During their three-day visit, they took a first hand account of the current situation for undertaking future programmes in the state.
The tour was organized under the aegis of Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Manipur.
The delegation met senior leaders of the state and held talks with them on various subjects.
"We want to have discussion with Manipur government regarding how to enhance the friendship and cooperation on economic affairs between the two sides," said Naoki Ito.
