Manipuri Prostitution arrested in Bangalore

BANGALORE: With the arrest of seven people including four women the police busted two prostitution rackets here on Saturday.
An apartment in HRBR layout was raided and four person including three women were arrested by the Banasawadi police.
The accused has been identified as Syed Safir Ahmed (40), a resident of Jayanagar 9th Block.
Among the three women, one lived in HRBR Layout, while the other two have been identified as natives of Manipur and Madikeri.
According to the police, Syed worked as a lab technician in a dental clinic in Jayanagar. He came to know about the financial difficulties the women were facing and convinced them that they would earn well if they joined him and introduced them to flesh trade.
They had rented a flat in the apartment and charged Rs 3,000 for an hour. Other accused in the case, Ramesh and Ravi, are absconding and search in on to nab them.
The Banasawadi police have seized cash Rs 2,000 and mobile phones and have registered a case.
In another incident, Yashawantapur police raided a house on HMT main road in Brindavananagar and arrested three persons including one woman.
The accused have been identified as Pradeep and Vinod. Another woman is said to be absconding and police are searching for her.
An amount of Rs 1,000 in cash and a mobile phone have been seized from the accused.
