Imphal, Feb 3 : The All Club Organisation Association and Meira Paibi Lup Kangleipak (ACOMALUP) has demanded that all camps belonging to the NSCN(IM) should be removed from Manipur.
President of the organisation Indrakumar briefing media persons here today said the NSCN(IM) has three designated camps in Manipur and the government should immediately close down the camps.
The organisation, however, welcomed the resolution of a stand off between Assam Rifles personnel and NSCN(IM) cadres at Siroy, Ukhrul district.
The AR personnel had surrounded 25 cadres of NSCN(IM) for allegedly trying to set up camp at Ukhrul district. After prolonged negotiations the ultras went away yesterday.
Chandrakumar Khumancha, Gen Secy of the organisation said the government and the NSCN are on ceasefire. But it was within the territory of Nagaland.
”No camps can be established in Manipur,” he added.
The Manipur government should act, otherwise it would become a non-existent government, he added.

Imphal, February 2 : People of Siroy are suffering a lot by prolong AR-NSCN(IM) stand-off at Siroy which begins from January 18, on the other hand, the incident has rise a question on the government sincerity to its stand and also the dishonesty of the government of India, said a statement of the Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) today.
How the great June uprising of 2001 occurred is still remember by the people.
Both the state Central governments also well aware of it.
The controversy arising out at Siroy between the AR and NSCN(IM) has created a confusion to the minds of the people.
This is in total contrast to responsibility to be taken by the state as well as Central government as the innocent civilians of the Siroy are made suffering by the controversy, the statement said.
Since the 2001, Prime Ministers of the country have been saying that the cease fire by the NSCN (IM) and GOI do not extend in Manipur and the state government had also repeatedly shouting that at any cost territorial integrity of the state will be safeguard.
But pass incidents and presently happening incidents had forced the people disbelieved to the assurances given by the governments.
The incident is a great cheat to the people of the state by the Central government as it has exposed that in Manipur where cease fire does not extend, NSCN(IM) is opening its camps in Tamenglong, Chandel, Senapati and Ukhrul.
And why the state and Central government is not taking up immediate step even though it has been clearly known after January 18 that NSCN(IM) is running its designated camps in Manipur.
