SIPOM appeals for unity in adversity

IMPHAL, Jan 17: The Society for Integrated People’s Organisation Manipur (SIPOM) has appealed to all sections of people, NGOs and civil organizations to work together with a single mindset and unity to bring peace and harmony in the state so as to overcome the issues confronting the state.

Speaking in a press conference held today at the Manipur Press Club, SIPOM, secretary, Ksh. Arun Meetei expressed concern over deep sense of hatred amongst NGOs and civil society organisations in the state and the diminishing public support towards civil society organisations.

Observing that the future of Manipur lies at the hand its people, the SIPHOM secretary urged people of all community residing in the state to be united in the fight for restoring our security and to make Manipur a better place for living.
